Marsden a venue on the Brit Rock Tour!

The event is a joint fundraising venture by Marsden Scout group and Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team

 

In July 2016 the young people of Marsden, Outlane and Bradley Scout Groups set off on their own adventure to the Kandersteg International Scout Centre in the Bernese Oberland Switzerland. Proceeds from the Brit Rock film evening will support these young people embarking on their adventures.

 

The Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team  averages 18 incidents a year  totalling about 1000 man-hours of search and rescue provision for West Yorkshire Police. Proceeds from the event will support HVMRT to continue to provide their services
